Choice Picture Book Award and the Coretta Scott King Award for illustrator.

- Learn the difference between fiction and non-fiction.
- Locate easy, fiction, non-fiction, and other age-appropriate library materials.
- Introduce the online catalog as a way to find material
- Locate call number on the computer screen.

Grade 2

- Distinguish between a dictionary and an encyclopedia.
- Locate and become familiar these and other reference books.
